Notes on what we're building — for clients, and for ourselves — written from inside the actual work rather than about it from a distance.

We write about three things: the operational details of building for Indian small businesses — GST compliance, payment integration, that kind of thing — the actual tradeoffs behind stack decisions like Blazor Server versus WebAssembly, and straight answers on what things cost, since most of what's published on that is either agency lead-gen or years out of date.

No brand posts, no "thoughts on the industry," and nothing written to hit a content calendar — each post exists because we ran into the problem directly, usually while building something for a client or for ourselves, and wrote down what we'd want to have read beforehand, before we had to work it out the slow way.

That also means posts show up irregularly rather than on a schedule instead of a fixed weekly cadence, and each one tries to include something you'd only know from having actually shipped the thing — a specific rule that trips up GST invoicing software, the real hosting cost difference between two Blazor render models, an honest, sourced number for what a custom software build actually costs in India right now. If a post doesn't clear that bar, we don't publish it just to have something new up.

If you're evaluating a build decision, checking a compliance requirement, or trying to figure out what something should actually cost, this is meant to save you the version of that research we already did the hard way — including the parts that only show up once software is actually in production and someone is relying on it every day to run their business.
